Giant Scolopendra Centipedes, one of few bugz that scare me. Giant Scolopendra centipede bites cause allot of pain and major swelling, some keepers who have been bitten have also experienced nasty side effects requiring hospitalization and month long treatments. surprisingly only one death has ever been reported from a giant centipede bite, a young Philippino girl who got bit in the head.
these creatures will not hesitate to bite, handling is not advised!!!
